Pearl Marvell is a multimedia storyteller with over ten years of experience as a writer, reporter, photographer and producer. Pearl received her BA degree in psychology from the University of Puerto Rico and — after working in Europe for several years — received her MA degree in journalism in New York City. Since moving to Rhode Island she has applied her skill set to helping companies and individuals tell their stories through visual imagery and the written word.

Pearl grew up in the Caribbean, splitting her time on the island of Nevis and on her parents three-masted Herreshoff schooner. She sailed around the world when she was a teenager and she one day hopes to get her captain's license as well. She is currently landbound and lives with her husband, two dogs, bees and baby in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
